Of the 61 HHS levies on the ballot, 54 passed. Levies failed in Adams, Coshocton, Highland, Holmes, Madison, and Perry County. Union-Miles is a tight, supportive neighborhood but still faces many unmet needs. Transportation is a challenge. Health disparities persist. The U.S. House has passed legislation that would allow the Secretary of the U.S. Treasury to unilaterally rescind the 501c3 status of nonprofit organizations. The bill now moves to the U.S. Senate. But for those who do find care, the typical child is first exposed to childcare very early in life, averaging about 30 hours a week in childcare.
