This week is all about raising awareness, amplifying voices, and showcasing the incredible work being done to build a fairer society for all. In Aberdeen, we’re highlighting the local efforts to #ChallengePoverty and bring about meaningful change. Be sure to follow Station House Media Unit (shmu) on social media for a series of powerful films and podcasts that explore the realities of poverty and how it impacts our communities. These mediums give a voice to those affected and showcase the inspiring work happening right here in Aberdeen. Additionally, tune in to shmuFM (99.8FM) every day between 11am–1pm to hear directly from local charities and community organizations about the steps they are taking to challenge poverty and promote equality. From grassroots efforts to innovative projects, there’s so much happening to help create a just and equal society.
