At the October 29, 2024, Community Mental Health for Central Michigan (CMHCM) Board of Directors’ meeting, Susan Alspaugh-Denman was recognized for 20 years of employment.

Susan Alspaugh-Denman began employment with CMHCM as an intermittent Community Supports Technician on January 13, 2003. She moved to a part-time Case Manager position and then was promoted to a full-time Case Manager position. Susan began her position as a Wraparound Case Manager on December 29, 2014, in which she currently serves.
?
She is well-respected by her supervisor and coworkers for her dedication, empathy, and the way she goes above and beyond for the families she supports in the Wraparound role. She has shown guidance to families through some of their most challenging moments, offering not just support, but a tailored approach that identifies strengths and empowers them to find solutions that work best for their unique needs. Susan shows a deep understanding of the families she supports and also the skill to collaborate with community organizations and services. Her efforts to connect families with the right resources and ensure that they feel supported throughout the process have made a tremendous difference in their lives.
