This past Tuesday, Senator Robert Jackson and the New York State Senate honored our Executive Director, Yvonne Stennett as a “Woman of Distinction.” Ms. Stennett has made it her life's work to serve the people of Washington Heights, Inwood and Hamilton Heights. Whether it be ensuring a safe, warm place to sleep, providing nourishment to struggling households or simply being an ear to someone who desperately needs one, she has always been present. Her dedication and commitment to our community is a model for future leaders, and we are honored to have her as our “commander in chief." Our heartfelt thanks to Senator Robert Jackson and Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins for this well deserved recognition. Everyone at CLOTH could not be prouder!!!
