In honor of Fair Housing Awareness Month, CLP would like to salute one of its rock star volunteer attorneys, Lynn Hanshaw. ?? Did you know that Lynn Hanshaw has devoted much of her legal career to helping vulnerable residents successfully challenge discriminatory housing practices in our community? ??Lynn handled the very first fair housing case that went to a jury trial in the Middle District of Florida in 2005, where she received a monetary verdict on behalf of her client. She was a key member of the Tri County Fair Housing Consortium, which was formed 25 years ago by the best legal and social minds in our community. This organization has become what is now known today as the Tampa Bay Fair Housing Consortium, which provides education, outreach, and enforcement protection to those in need. Visit at https://lnkd.in/ea2icwiA ??The Tampa Bay community has been forever positively impacted and improved because of her trailblazing efforts, and CLP is extremely fortunate to have her as a member of our team! #Fairhousingawarenessmonth #lynnhanshaw #35yearsofcommunitylawprogram
