Happy Halloween! We had a frighteningly good time last week at the Normandy Schools Collaborative's Trunk Fest at the Normandy Early Learning Center. It was a treat to see so many Network members and the incredible turnout of families from the 24:1!

The University of Missouri-Saint Louis is once again a polling place this fall. From now until Election Day, any registered voter in St. Louis County may vote at the UMSL polling place (MSC-Century Room A) for the Nov. 5 general election. We have a new award for our annual A Night With the Stars awards ceremony this year: the Emerging Changemaker Award, which is for individuals 18 and under who are making a positive impact in the 24:1 and laying the foundation for a brighter future for themselves and their peers. This award would be great for boosting a young person's resume and building their confidence, and we would love to celebrate them! The aim of our annual Wellness in the Field event is to offer direct service providers an opportunity to relax and have others care for them the same way they care for their clients. "It just seems like it’s a means to give back to all of us who are pouring out just about everything we have to ensure that our clients and our customers are taken care of," Mitchell Mandel from Autism Support Now said.
