Community Housing and Resources (CHR) is pleased to shine a spotlight on two outstanding staff members who have been instrumental in making a positive impact in the Sanibel Captiva community. Kate Stone Pujol, Community Relations Director at CHR, recently showcased her dedication and leadership by serving as a guest speaker at a Sanibel Captiva Rotary Club meeting, sharing valuable insights and fostering community connections. Additionally, Tracy Haskins, CHR's??Bookkeeper, was honored to be inducted as the newest member of??SanCap Kiwanis, further extending her commitment to community service and engagement. CHR is immensely proud of both Kate and Tracy for their exemplary contributions to the community and the difference they are making on Sanibel Captiva Islands. "Kate Stone Pujol and Tracy Haskins exemplify the spirit of CHR and embody our values of service, dedication, and community involvement. We are privileged to have such talented and compassionate individuals on our team," remarked Nicole Decker-McHale, Executive Director of CHR. Bank of the Islands made its most recent?non-profit donation via their "We Love our Islands" program. Rookie Bradley was the latest winner and selected Community Housing and Resources as the recipient. Thank you Rookie and Bank of the Islands! We are counting down the days until the Community Housing and Resources and FISH OF SANCAP, Inc. Spring Community Event! Come by the CHR office, 800 Casa Ybel Rd #7, on 3/27 to make your own bouquet. The event is from 11:30am-1:30pm. We'll have pizza from Island Pizza and Ice Cream from Pinocchio's Original Italian Ice Cream!

Mark your calendars! CHR's Executive Director, Nicole, has a birthday coming up in April! To celebrate we are having a whole month of fun activities for CHR residents as well as a community music night open to the Sanibel-Captiva community. More details to follow ????

It's National Employee Appreciation Day! We love our staff every day but especially on National Employee Appreciation Day!

CHR’s Savannah Miller-Berg, Kate Stone Pujol, and Roger Grogman attended this mornings SANIBEL-CAPTIVA ROTARY CLUB, INC. meeting at Sanibel Community Association. In honor of Black History Month and Women’s History Month, Reverend John Danner shared the story of Zora Neale Hurston, “A Genius of the South”. Savannah assisted in a new member induction.
