Today CHC recognizes the "Power of Rural" on National Rural Health Day (NRHD) to honor the efforts of rural healthcare providers, communities, organizations, State Offices of Rural Health, and all who are dedicated to addressing the unique healthcare needs of rural America.

Rural hospitals' perpetual need to do more with less and to overcome limitations not found elsewhere has led to modernized care delivery. Although many of the innovations are tech-centric, not all require Internet access to work.
