Weekend plans are great but what are you doing on Wednesday night?! We are hosting a Reignite Recovery Open House to celebrate the relaunch of our adult substance abuse groups, and you are invited! Join us from 6-8 pm for games, free food from Big Burrito, raffle drawings, and a chance to meet our top-notch treatment team. This event is family-friendly, and childcare will be available, so bring a friend and come enjoy a night of community with us!

This week, our Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) team is in Huntsville Alabama attending the 41st International Symposium on Child Abuse, hosted by the National Children's Advocacy Center (NCAC)! This important event brings together professionals from around the world to strengthen our collective efforts in protecting children and supporting survivors. Workshops cover critical topics such as forensic interviewing, victim advocacy, human trafficking, prevention, and much more. We are honored to be part of this impactful symposium and to continue learning, collaborating, and advocating for the well-being of children. For 27 years we've been proud to host Roof Sit in support of children in Southwest Michigan. Through Roof Sit, we've helped raise awareness and vital funds to fight child abuse and build brighter futures for kids in our community. We are excited about the relaunch of our adult outpatient substance abuse groups and invite you to a Reignite Recovery Open House on March 26th! April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and we're looking for local business or organizations to partner with us and be a Pinwheel for Prevention site! It's so easy to get involved! How it works: - Businesses feature a small donation box with a bucket of pinwheels, April 1 through Roof Sit - May 24. - Every donation of any size is rewarded with a pinwheel. - All materials provided by Community Healing Centers development team. - Drop-off or pick-up can easily be coordinated. - All funds support Roof Sit. Yesterday we had a celebratory luncheon honoring some of our incredible long-time employees, each with over 20 YEARS of service! Through many changes and challenges, their commitment has helped shape our mission and impact countless lives. Thank you to Kevin, Mike, Sharon, Barry, John, and Stefanie for your dedication, passion, and years of hard work! An extra special thank you to The Big Burrito Mexican Restaurant for donating all of the delicious food, and to the former owner for cooking and delivering everything!
