Thank you to Carl Lindell, Jr. and Dr. Lyda Lindell for their incredible investments in our community! They've been generously supporting a number of charitable causes, and now, their legacy will continue for many, many more years. Over the past 2 years, the Lindells have been working closely with their professional advisors and the Community Foundation Tampa Bay on a complex gift that creates the Lindell Family Foundation. Their passion for strategic philanthropy made it possible to restructure estate and business assets to create long-term impact and maximize tax advantages. We're honored to be the philanthropic partner for the Lindell family, and inspired by this significant investment in our community! Did you know that the St. Petersburg arts and culture community generated $132M and supported more than 2,000 jobs in 2022? ?? We're enthusiastic supporters of the local arts community. Fundholders often ask: How can funding make an impact? What great work are nonprofits doing in our community? This summer, they heard answers directly from nonprofit leaders during exclusive behind-the-scenes tours. Last month, 17 fundholders toured the Touchton Map Library at the Tampa Bay History Center with a special guide, fellow fundholder Tom Touchton. The Library is home to maps, charts and other documents dating back more than 500 years. ??? Thank you again, Tom, for making our July tour so memorable! As part of our role as a community convener and collaborator, we open the doors of our Pinellas office for the monthly "Word with Welch" discussions with St. Petersburg Mayor, Kenneth Welch. The Mayor's discussions have included local Hispanic leaders, school principals and faith leaders. We love hosting in-depth conversations that drive our community forward. ?? #TampaBayCommunity?#StPeteMayor?#CommunityDiscussion?#StPeteEvent

We're so happy to support philanthropy your way! Sometimes that looks like a group of friends who created a way to give back to their community. The Premier 1000 of Pasco County, a donor advised fund with us, used their combined funds to contribute to a participant of our Critical Needs List. Specifically, to Richey Suncoast Theatre, which needed to upgrade its sound system to maintain an enjoyable theatre experience. With our 1-to-3 match program, the organization who is celebrating their 100th year, met its funding needs and continues to provide a venue for artists to display their talents. Our Critical Needs List is a resource for nonprofits experiencing unexpected circumstances. By sharing their need with us, our fundholders and other philanthropists know where their resources are needed most.
