This past weekend, we had a PAW-some time at Pups in the Park, raising awareness for our Animal Welfare Fund and celebrating our community’s four-legged friends! ?? A huge thank you to Otis and Jamila for their help throughout the event—we couldn’t have done it without you! We also appreciate our board member, Pat Caracciolo, for joining us and serving as a judge for the always adorable Pet Costume Contest. ???? From wagging tails to creative costumes, it was a fantastic day filled with fun, community spirit, and a shared commitment to supporting animal welfare in South Lake. We are excited to partner with the WGA and Michael's Foundation to bring you this evening Yoga class, followed by horse grooming and photos (all optional). The event will be held at Keeley Clark’s Al-Marah Arabian Horse Ranch, 11095 Autumn Lane, Clermont, FL from 5:45 pm – 7:30 pm. Leading the way in animal welfare! Meet Sandra Cagan, the powerhouse behind Orlando Cat Cafe, making a difference for South Lake's animals. Sandra is instrumentally in ensuring that all Lake County fire trucks and EMS vehicles are equipped with pet oxygen masks. ????

For more than 10 years, Family Matters has been there to provide counseling and support for single parents, pregnant teens, abused children, and depressed and suicidal teens and adults and others in crisis. Through the years, Family Matters has discovered the immense need for additional services for many of its clients. Family Matters was a Community Foundation of South Lake Grant Recipient and received funds to expand complimentary services to help students thrive,e which include: ? Tutoring for students ?
