?? What if you could automate the tasks that slow you down? Let’s talk about it this Wednesday for FREE! ?? The first session of our AI Essentials Workshop Series was a huge success! ?? Audrey Willis from CodeCrew led nonprofit professionals through an engaging discussion on the ethical implications of AI, how bias can impact its use, and ways to implement AI responsibly in their organizations.? The energy, curiosity, and thoughtful discussion made it clear—AI is already shaping the nonprofit sector, and now is the time to get ahead of the curve. One participant shared: "This workshop was an excellent dip into AI for the nonprofit sector, and my organization found the information covered just in the first session to be monumental for rolling out a much-needed plan for our staff." ?? Many attendees walked away recognizing that AI isn’t just something to consider for the future—it’s something their teams are already using, often without realizing it. This sparked important conversations about creating policies, maximizing efficiency, and using AI to free up valuable time for mission-driven work. Now, we’re keeping the momentum going with Session 2: Intro to Generative AI this Wednesday! This FREE session will be hands-on, focusing on how AI works, what tools are available, and how nonprofits can leverage AI to enhance productivity and innovation. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to explore AI in a way that’s practical and nonprofit-focused. If you found the first session insightful, this next one will be even more impactful! ?? Where: The Zone at the FedEx Institute of Technology, University of Memphis ?? When: Wednesday, March 12th 5:30 - 7:30 pm ?? Register now: LIVEGIVEmidsouth.org/AI Let’s continue the conversation and make AI work for our nonprofit community! See you there! ??: D'Angelo Connell

There are two cities I will always go hard in the paint for... My hometown, ??????????????, made me fierce and resilient, while the city I've called home for the past seven years, ??????????????, shaped me into a businesswoman. And today, I’m beyond honored to be named a 2025 Memphis Business Journal 40 Under 40 Honoree! When people ask how I manage to serve on so many local boards and committees, I tell them it’s because I owe a great deal to Memphis for teaching me to be unapologetically business-minded while remaining deeply engaged in civic matters, not just locally but now on a national level as well. I stand on the shoulders of so many, and I hope to be a foundation for those coming after me. Thank you, Memphis Business Journal, for this recognition! Thank you to those who believe in me. And thank you to the city that continues to inspire me. The best is yet to come. ??? A huge congratulations to my fellow 2025 MBJ 40 Under 40 class members! It’s an honor to be recognized alongside such an incredible group of leaders. Cheers to all of us making an impact! ?? #MBJ40Under40
