A Year in Review: As we reflect on this most amazing year, our biggest giving year to date, we must thank God for His favor and thank you for your tenacity and LOVE. This year, we were able to seed more than we have ever seeded in our 23-year history: $70,100 thanks to the hard work and generosity of our members, board, private and corporate partners like Wells Fargo and Now Word Covenant Church. We held Career and College Readiness Sessions free to the public, and sent care packages to our recipients. The COMMUNITY FOR LIFE FOUNDATION would like to thank all our corporate partners that helped us bless the lives of 25 students with over $70,000 this year. To date, over 375 Scholarships have been given out, as we help Today's Learners Become Tomorrow's Leaders. Thank you to Wells Fargo, Now Word Covenant Church, Texas A&M University-San Antonio New Creation Christian Fellowship, The African American Network - TAAN, and Sinclair WOAI News 4 Broadcasting Station, KABB FOX 29 News, San Antonio for your support throughout our banner year. This weekend, our COMMUNITY FOR LIFE FOUNDATION gave $70,100 in scholarships to some amazing students. Since our inception in 2001, we have given over $883,100 in scholarships to more than 375 students. We also heard a dynamic message from our Keynote Speaker, NBA's New Orleans Pelicans General Manager, Mr. Bryson Graham. Thank you to all those who purchased a ticket, donated, and/or supported our Legacy Scholorship Luncheon that helps us make Today's Learners Become Tomorrow's Leaders.

Our Executive Director, Lawrence Scott, Ph.D. joined Wells Fargo Vice President Barbara Ankamah Burford to discuss our Legacy Scholarship Luncheon on August 3rd, where we plan to give over $70,000 in scholarships thanks to our new partnership with Wells Fargo. Since our inception in 2001, we have given over $813,000 in scholarships to more than 350 students in the Greater San Antonio area. We are excited to expand this tradition this year, and help Today's Learners Become Tomorrow's Leaders. Thank you Diana Rocco and WOAI for amplifying the voice of our Mission. Last year, because of this Wells Fargo grant, the Community for Life Foundation was able to give a record $70,000 in scholarships. We are slated to do it again at our Legacy Scholarship Luncheon on August 3rd thanks to the faithful giving of this partnership with Wells Fargo and many of our supporters.
