A food bank fighting hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties by providing access to fresh, nutritious food.
关于我们
Community Food Share is a food bank fighting hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties by providing access to fresh, nutritious food through local partners and its onsite and mobile pantries. But we're more than a food bank — we’re a neighbor and a friend who’s been part of the fabric of Boulder and Broomfield Counties for decades. We know that ending hunger in our communities requires collaboration. That’s why we not only provide food directly to families, seniors, students, and others, we’re also a hub — delivering millions of pounds of food a year to local partners to reach people in their communities. Because when we work together, we give more people access to fresh, nutritious food.

In partnership with 9News and King Soopers, we’re working to make a difference for families facing hunger right here in our community. Now through December 8th, you can give at checkout at your local King Soopers or donate online. Hunger doesn’t discriminate—it’s closer than you think. Many of the people we serve are working hard, but with rising costs, it’s becoming harder to keep food on the table. For 1 in 12 people in Boulder and Broomfield Counties, food access is uncertain. Every dollar you give has a huge impact: each $1 donation provides $6 worth of groceries for our neighbors. ???? Let’s come together to make sure no one in our community faces hunger alone. ?? https://bit.ly/40DuQ7A

What began as a garden full of flowers blossomed into a movement of generosity and community support. After rebuilding her home and garden post-Marshall Fire, Caitlin Hawksley found herself with more flowers than she could give away. Instead of letting them go to waste, Caitlin turned her blooms into bouquets—40 little jars of kindness—to help fight food insecurity. In exchange for her mini flower bouquets, community members donated food to Community Food Share, bringing cars full of donations from near and far. ???? Her creative approach reminded neighbors that food insecurity affects many, even as seasons change. “Everyone has a gift to give. If you have a wild idea, listen to it,” Caitlin says. Her heartfelt idea not only raised awareness but also inspired others to find their own ways to give back. Thank you, Caitlin, for showing us that even small acts can make a big difference. ?? Caitlin’s journey doesn’t end here. She has started a new food drive to support Community Food Share! To read her full story and donate to Caitlin’s food drive please visit the links below. ??
