Yesterday was an awesome day at A.Philip Randolph career academy not only did I win the Taxslayer Teacher of the week but the school was recognized as the Community First Credit Union school of the month. We where informed we won it before they presented us the award so we got the chance to make them a thank you gift! Turned the gift into a fun lesson plan for my welding students. They got to learn about drawing parts in CAD then loading and running a cnc plasma table, metal finishing, breaking then finally coating it. They had fun and the present turn out amazing! Had so much fun at the pride parade. This was my first community event and definitely not my last. Many more to come. Proud to be apart of a company that genuinely empowers and cares about the community and their employees. Future is looking bright Community First Credit Union.
