Here's a friendly reminder about an impending deadline that may impact your business. As of January 1, 2024, the Corporate Transparency Act requires that certain entities and many small businesses comply with FinCEN’s anti-money laundering law by reporting beneficial ownership information. The deadline to file is January 1, 2025. Many companies are required to comply with this new law and report information to FinCEN about the individuals who ultimately own or control them.
