We help build bridges of opportunity ?? among members of our community. At Community Family Centers, we see the challenges immigrants face, especially the language barrier. It’s more than just learning English—it’s about creating connections and opportunities for integration. With determination and resilience, many learn by listening, asking questions, and embracing mistakes. We’re here to support their journey and provide the tools needed to succeed in a new community. Thanks, Telemundo Houston | KTMD for sharing these stories! https://lnkd.in/gMxmuNBH

Gratitude Post CFC would like to extend a huge thank you to Jessica Zarate from Houston Volunteer Lawyers and Edwin Vasquez from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for joining us today to talk to our clients about the various pathways to citizenship and the naturalization process! Their expert guidance and thoughtful discussion provided crucial information to help our community understand the different options and steps involved in becoming a U.S. citizen. We are incredibly grateful for their time and dedication to supporting individuals as they navigate their journey to citizenship. A Historic Moment! ? The HCC Morales Mural was unveiled! This stunning piece of art, created by the talented Mark DeLeon, honors the legacy of the Morales family. Texas State Representative Christina Morales, granddaughter of Angela and Felix Morales, shared inspiring stories about her family's history, accomplishments, and their dedication to the community. She also spoke about how Morales Funeral Home helped her father obtain a copy of his American birth certificate. Everyone emphasized the importance of learning about our history and honoring those who came before us. Their efforts, time, and love paved the way for this vibrant community through education and other valuable resources.
