The Rios family was facing a tough time when they came to CFC. Their newborn son had a medical condition that made it difficult for him to eat, and their electricity had been disconnected. ?? CFC restored the family’s electricity by providing both the necessary deposit and payment in full. Additionally, with the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide food, formula, a baby carrier, and one month's rent. ?? CFC’s National Night Out Recap Last night, our community came alive as we celebrated National Night Out! It was a heartwarming gathering that brought neighbors, Houston Police Department, Reliant Energy, Houston Community College, Harris County Public Health, Emancipet, Trust CHW, State Senator Carol Alvarado, Houston Public Library, Julian Ramirez and Judge Victor Trevino III together in a spirit of unity and support. This annual event is more than just a fun evening; it’s an essential opportunity for us to strengthen the bonds within our community. With smiles all around, residents engaged with officers, sharing stories and building trust in a friendly atmosphere. From engaging activities to informative booths, it was inspiring to see so many coming together for a common cause: to create safer, stronger neighborhoods.
