January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month Did you know many survivors of human trafficking seek civil legal services as part of their recovery? Last month, in cooperation with The Joseph Project, CCLA had the privilege of helping a survivor take a powerful step toward healing by assisting her with a name change. For her, this wasn’t just a legal procedure—it was a proclamation of freedom and a fresh start. She chose a name that meant "happiness," leaving behind a painful past to step into the new life God has planned for her. This transformation, inspired by God’s restorative work, was made possible through the support of volunteers, donors, and prayer partners like you.
