Every mother endeavors to provide healthy nutrition to her family but for single moms, providing consistently healthy meals can pose a significant challenge. Equipped with the right resources and support, single moms exhibit an unparalleled capacity to better not just their families' health, but the overall health of their very communities. Are we, as community stakeholders, doing enough to empower them? ?? It's time we realign our #CorporateSocialResponsibility, philanthropy, and community initiatives to empower single mothers, and women in general, to foster healthier communities. ???????????? The onus is also on us as policymakers, local businesses, real estate developers, and even community leaders to make healthier spaces more accessible and affordable housing designed to promote healthier lifestyles a reality. ????
