The Community Blood Center

Executive Director Emily Jolin has over 20 years experience leading the growth of blood collection efforts in the Wausau area. In 2023, Emily and her Blood Center of Northcentral Wisconsin team joined CBC, remaining vital to maintaining a stable blood supply in the community. Emily, whose passion for this work is personal, says, “I am proud to be part of an organization that makes saving lives possible.”

Meet Cole, a local high school senior, who stopped to donate blood today at the Appleton Season of Giving blood drive event. He said "I donate blood because I think it is fun and it is easy for me to do." He also shared his experience with the mixed reality technology.

Thank you for your service! We are grateful for our veteran partners, who play a key role in our MASH drives each summer. Thanks to veterans and donors alike, we were able to save over 2,800 potential lives this summer, and gave $5,000 to support local veteran groups.
