For providers: In this virtual workshop, Dr. Sandy Capaldi will discuss the differential diagnosis between post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and grief reactions to the loss of a loved one, review the definitions of bereavement, mourning, and grief; discuss the dual processes and types of grief; review the diagnostic criteria for PTSD and Prolonged Grief Disorder; and discuss evidence-based therapeutic techniques to treat both.
