The Paralegal?is a critical member of Communities Rise’s Legal Team, which provides business (non-litigation) legal services to small businesses and nonprofits. The Paralegal’s primary role is managing the legal intake process for Communities Rise’s small business and nonprofit organizational clients. Client intake includes managing client inquiries, interviewing applicants for our legal services, assessing cases in consultation with attorneys, follow-up fact investigation and research,?tracking intake in our databases, and maintaining client files. The position plays a vital role in engagement and relationship building with our client communities and in ensuring we are fulfilling our mission to build power in communities impacted by systemic oppression through support of thriving nonprofit organizations and small businesses.
