Our program manager at Goodlettsville Middle, Ms. Williams, recently organized the first-ever Goods for Guardians event, which connected over 60 families with essential resources and support. With the help of local organizations and generous teacher donations, families received food, clothing, hygiene items, and more! We’re so grateful for our community partners and Ms. Williams for making this happen! #beingpresentmatters

A huge thank you to the nearly 200 Jackson volunteers who came together at the Omni Nashville Hotel to support our mission during their annual sales meeting! They assembled an incredible 6,000 supply kits filled with essential hygiene and household items for the students we serve across 26 Metro Nashville Public Schools, as well as teacher and faculty appreciation kits and gift cards. Thanks to their generous effort, our students will have what they need to show up each day ready to learn—and that makes all the difference. We’re so grateful to all these volunteers #ShowingUp for our students. ?

After several years in customer service, she transitioned to the school system, where she discovered a passion for supporting students and families. This journey led her to Communities In Schools, where she works closely with the community to give back and create a positive impact.
