Last week at Arlington Elementary School, Ms. Katie hosted the first Kindness Club meeting on World Kindness Day. Second through fifth graders made Thank You cards for the Tacoma Eagles, who graciously hosted a coat drive for Arlington Elementary. The club also brainstormed ways to show kindness at school. Christian, Site Coordinator at Oakland High School, used a creative way to engage more students. During the?last two days students were given a mission to find all 50 rubber ducks hidden around the school. They could keep the ducks BUT they had to come to the CIST room at lunch and engage by answering a trivia question. In return they received yummy full size candy bars!
