We’re so grateful to be involved with University of North Carolina Wilmington's Wings Up for Wilmington this year! Thanks to this incredible group of SeaHawks, our youth center has been transformed. Just look at the before and after photos!! They braved the rain and cleared more than a dozen bags of yard debris to make our outdoor space safe and restorative for the students we serve. Our team and the CLASS students cant believe the difference this group of volunteers made in a matter of hours. Thank you, UNCW!!

Today, we’re spotlighting CIS of Cape Fear’s 24th annual Stuff the Bus event! ?? This year, the event has evolved into a community engagement opportunity. Local businesses, corporations, civic organizations, and churches united to collect essential back-to-school items for students! Communities In Schools of Cape Fear is also preparing site coordinators and school administrators by investing in professional development, first aid and mental health support training, and relationship-building events for staff and school principals. Happy First Day to students and staff at many New Hanover County Schools!! This year, CIS is expanding into Noble Middle School and Roland Grise Middle School for the very first time, and adding CIS staff to our existing site at Myrtle Grove Middle School. We're so excited to grow our impact and reach more students than ever before!

Happy First Day to students and staff at Pender County Schools! CIS is especially excited to announce we're expanding! We've added a special Student Support Specialist to serve the county's migrant families and you can now catch CIS staff at Surf City Elementary School and Rocky Point Elementary School for the very first time. This school year, you can also find additional CIS staff at existing sites Pender High School and Malpass Corner Elementary. We know its going to be a great year! #AllinforKids

PolyQuest recently completed our annual Give Back Week, dedicating efforts to organizations such as Cape Fear River Watch, DAV (Disabled American Veterans), United Way of the Cape Fear Area (UWCFA), First Fruit Ministries, Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity, Communities In Schools of Cape Fear, and our ongoing support of Nourish NC! and Meals on Wheels America. We also participated in beach clean-ups, and the 'It's cool to be kind' challenge – serving as a reminder that sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.?The week was a success, demonstrating our employees' dedication to making a positive impact.
