SPICY You want outside the box? You got it. Big ideas, provocative colors, themes and layouts, audacious messaging. The ultimate change-up and attention grabber. Why do we do this? Because we want to be more than entertainers or advisors — we want to offer innovation, creativity and new perspectives for our clients. 2024 was the year of learning and experimenting with AI in the workplace. For CSG designers, that meant exploring the new upgrades to their favorite programs and working those into their projects to work smarter and not harder. For example: AI can streamline adding or removing content from an image, separating subjects from backgrounds and resizing images for print and digital campaigns. Efficiencies like these will open new opportunities in design for the year ahead. When it comes to the big ideas — the concepts and the campaigns — we lead with human creativity. For 2025, we’re predicting that content marketers, including us, will focus on these two things to put the “I” in “AI.” NOTE: This is not an exhaustive list. 1. Revise SEO Strategy Search engine features like Google’s AI Overview are a shortcut to the top of the page. The same qualities matter here as with standard search results — relevance, organization, credibility, backlinks, etc. — but there are clearly differences, since search results and selected AI overview sources do not always line up. Once again, we must put on our algorithm whispering gear (rubber gloves and a big hat, if you were wondering) and go forth into the unknown. 2. Embrace Humanity Audiences are now eager to view and engage with content that is unmistakably human. Knowing how much or how little machine assistance is right for a given project will be a question that we will return to over and over in the next year. For some content, AI input will be useful. For some (such as high-octane thought leadership), it will not. In any case, it will be important to inject humanity into content by fine-tuning language for each segment of an audience, looking for chances to highlight individuals rather than brands, offering unprecedented or at least uncommon opinions, and demonstrating the emotional intelligence that is our birthright. #AI #BusinessStrategy #DigitalMarketing
