Special thanks to Malek from Tudor House Cookies for teaching us the tips and tricks we needed to make some stunning and festive creations. For the past 3 years, we’re proud to have partnered with the Les Turner ALS Foundation to develop and launch My ALS Decision ToolTM. The modules in this tool are designed to help people living with #ALS learn about ALS treatment options and make important care decisions. For each module, we apply our #equity-centered health communication framework — co-creating the content and design with people living with ALS and their caregivers. Access the tool and check out the newest module, Participating in ALS Clinical Research, by visiting: https://lnkd.in/dRf-mdtB #ClinicalResearch
Deciding whether to participate in clinical research is a significant step for people living with ALS and their families, often raising important questions about risks, benefits, and expectations. Clear and reliable information to empower people during this decision-making process is paramount. To provide guidance and empower informed choices, we are excited to introduce the newest module in our My ALS Decision Tool™ on Participating in Clinical Research. Developed in partnership with NEALS (Northeast Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Consortium) and the ALS community, this module equips people living with ALS, their care teams, and families with the tools they need to understand the clinical research landscape and confidently consider participation. Last week, CH’s Leadership Team gathered at our Rockville, MD headquarters for our annual #StrategicPlanning meeting. We kicked off by reflecting on 2024’s accomplishments — and then applied our #DesignThinking skills to set updated (and ambitious!) goals for next year. We left the meeting brimming with new energy from getting the rare opportunity to connect in person and a refreshed commitment to serving our clients and #HealthComm community as we move into 2025.
