Did you know #CSLFarnham used to be Farnham Elementary School? ?? Beginning in 1912, Farnham Elementary School was filled with little kiddos before eventually becoming an Assisted Living community. It was such a treat to have had a few students from the class of 1968 join #CSLFarnham for lunch! They brought flowers and experienced the building, which they hadn't seen in a while. ????? Everyone told stories and even learned that some of their residents have mutual friends from the school. What a full circle moment! ?? #welcomehome #EngagetheDay

William, one of #CSLChesterfield's Assisted Living residents, was recently honored by Chesterfield's Aging and Disability Resources. The Board of Supervisors presented him with the Centenarian Certificate in recognition of his upcoming 100th birthday in November! ???? William has led a remarkable life, joining the Navy and later the Marine Corps, where he stormed Normandy in World War II. At age 90, he received a Purple Heart. In addition to these accomplishments, he owned the largest RCA store in Virginia, called Bill May's TV Appliance Store. Even at 100, William continues to inspire those around him with his smooth dance moves, contagious smiles, and strong Christian faith. We're so lucky to have him in our #PineappleFamily! ???? #welcomehome #EngagetheDay
