We're heartbroken by the the federal government's decisions of to end or withhold support for many of our vital community services. We participate in public-private partnerships to scale and sustain our impact on the community and for those we serve. Our country's human service delivery system is built on public-private partnerships. Community members rely on us to deliver services promised by government - if we can't fulfill our commitments to community members and the public, who will? Many thanks to the Virginia Mercury for publishing some of my thoughts! Commonwealth Catholic Charities The Virginia Mercury

"They arrive here with a promise of building a better life, a brighter future, not just for themselves, but for all of us, and they're in a situation where they don't know where their next meal is coming from. It's desperate... it's heartbreaking, and we're doing everything that we can, but we need help so that we can do more," - Jay Brown CCC CEO https://lnkd.in/e9FEQiGe
