On this brisk Thanksgiving Day I am thankful for: Being a proud Scottish immigrant and the opportunities my parent’s bold choice opened up for my sisters and I; The privilege to have served my community for seventeen years with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office; The amazing staff and treatment I recieved at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Brigham and Women's Hospital which has granted me a decade of renewed life and the opportunity to follow my dreams. My family, near and far, who have thought me at times a complete nutter, yet have stood by me, each in their own way; My truly inspiring partners working with me to make Commonwealth Airways take flight and reimagine the future or regional air service; And most importantly - you, my friends, associates, acquaintances and neighbors whom have enriched my life in so many immeasurable ways.
