We are pleased to announce that Dr. Thomas G. McGinn, MD, MPH has been appointed as our first Chief Physician Executive Officer (CPEO) where he will serve as a dyad partner to our Chief Nursing Officer Kathleen Sanford, and work closely with our Chief Operating Officer Terika Richardson, FACHE on all aspects of clinical care across the care continuum. As CPEO, Dr. McGinn will be responsible for clinical service lines, provider experience, Physician Enterprise, population health/PHSO, quality and safety programs, as well as clinical transformation efforts that support growth. Additionally, he will have executive oversight of CommonSpirit’s academic partner relationships, further supporting clinical research and collaboration. Congratulations, Dr. McGinn!
