Thank you, Rep. Jennifer McClellan (D-VA), for shedding light on how funding freezes affect Community Health Centers' workforce and their ability to deliver comprehensive primary care and substance use treatment, especially in rural areas. #ValueCHCs

I hate stories like this, there’s options. Besides the glaringly obvious insurance problem, there could’ve been education and support provided to the patient. BUT even before that, there could’ve been education provided to the healthcare workers (pharmacy and provider/office) on resources to help patients. Oh and probably time and grace, but I’ll save that for another rant. There’s so many resources out there and we need to spread the word and share to better help our friends in healthcare. Stories like this make me double down on Healthcare Advocate Summit and the education we provide the MedicoCX physicians and offices. Let me share my first and favorite resource: National Association of Medication Access & Patient Advocacy (NAMAPA)
