A personal story: How did the idea for Scentiment, the scented inserts for the Nutraceutical supplements originate? One Saturday, while visiting my parents, my dad approached and asked: "Can you smell that? It smells awful, kind of sour. Would you even take it?" I sniffed it and explained that the bad smell likely meant the capsules had gone bad (oxidized). Then, I asked if he had one of my "flavored cups" (special scented cups made from a unique polymer that uses scent to change the taste of water). (Few words about The Right Cup: The Right Cup, the product that put us on the map, is a revolutionary scent-flavored cup that enhances the taste of water using the power of aroma. To better understand the concept, please watch this YouTube clip https://lnkd.in/duwrrfu2). I asked my father to bring me one of these cups along with a cutter. I trimmed part of the cup’s scented rim and placed it into the nutraceutical bottle. I believed that the scented plastic part (which is food-safe) would mitigate the unpleasant smell from the oxidized capsules, and I was right! My dad called me a few hours later, amazed at the improvement. And the rest is history! Thank you Abba (dad in Hebrew). My dad passed away year and a half ago. Rest in peace Abba. I Miss you!

The Power of Perception Think your thoughts can't affect your body? Think again! A fascinating study shows how our beliefs about a product can influence our health. The study involved 30 adults with type 2 diabetes who drank identical drinks. The only difference? The label. Some drinks were labeled "high sugar," while others said "zero sugar." Surprisingly, blood sugar levels rose more significantly for those who thought they were drinking a sugary beverage, even though both drinks were the same! This highlights the power of Consumer Experience (CX). Everything from the label design and color to the product's weight and smell can impact how we perceive it. What we think about a product affects how it makes us feel, both physically and emotionally. The Science Behind the Emotion Recent research in brain and emotion shows a powerful link between thoughts and reality. Emotions are real and have a biological basis in our cells. This connection is often called the "emotional circle." Here's how it works: *External or Internal Event: We encounter something (a person, memory) *Thought: We form a thought about the event *Emotion: The thought evokes an emotion (joy, fear) *Physiological and Behavioral Response: Our body reacts (faster heart rate, smile) *Back to Event: Our reaction opens a new emotional cycle The Power of Smell While all senses influence emotions, smell holds a special place. Smells are processed by the olfactory system, which is directly linked to the limbic system, the brain's emotional center. This explains why certain scents can trigger strong emotions: the sweet aroma of cookies evokes happy memories, while smoke triggers fear. By considering how your product's label, design, and even scent influence perception, you can create a more positive impact on your customers. The Power of Packaging: Building Brand Loyalty with Every Box Ever wonder why unboxing videos are so popular? It's not just for fun! Packaging does more than protect your product; it creates a powerful first impression that builds lasting connections with your customers. The "Wow" Moment Think of the excitement you feel when you open a beautifully designed package. That feeling is real! Unboxing triggers the release of dopamine, a brain chemical linked to happiness and reward. This creates a positive association with your brand that goes beyond the product itself. The Sensory Experience Packaging isn't just about what you see. The texture of the materials, the scent inside the box – these all play a role! Engaging multiple senses creates a memorable experience that strengthens customer loyalty. The Power of Scent: A Lasting Memory Imagine opening a box filled with your favorite coffee, and a rich, inviting aroma fills the air. This scent, naturally coming directly from the product itself from the product itself, adds a layer of credibility and creates an even deeper impression in your memory. It's a powerful tool that instantly connects you to the product and evokes positive associations. Keeping the Connection The story doesn't end when the box is open! Consider adding QR codes that link to tutorials, surveys, or loyalty programs. This keeps your customers engaged and builds a long-term relationship. The ROI of Remarkable Packaging Investing in creative, well-designed packaging isn't just an expense; it's an investment. Happy customers become brand ambassadors, sharing their unboxing experiences and generating free marketing for you! This leads to more sales and a stronger brand overall. Forget fishy aftertaste, embrace delicious delivery: How scent is revolutionizing the supplements industry In today's online shopping world, dominated by Amazon and its review culture, customer experience (CX) is the king. Shoppers rely heavily on reviews, especially Amazon's, to make informed decisions. This is especially crucial for the nutraceutical supplement industry. Products like Omega-3, Ashwagandha, and Vitamin B often suffer from unpleasant smells, leading to negative reviews and lost sales. The power of perception: Crafting trust with supplement packaging Unlike a fever-reducing medication that delivers a quick, undeniable win, building trust in a supplement takes time. Consumers crave results, and without immediate, observable changes, they might struggle to see the value. This is where the often-overlooked element of packaging becomes your secret weapon. The moment your customer reaches for your supplement, a symphony of sensory experiences begins, each note influencing their perception of your product. From the first glimpse of the packaging to the moment they inhale the product's aroma, every detail plays a crucial role in shaping their initial impression. The Unsung Heroes of Packaging Clear labeling and eye-catching graphics are crucial for grabbing attention and communicating information. However, let's not overlook the unsung heroes of the packaging ensemble: the cap, the bottle, and even the subtle scent that greets you upon opening. These seemingly minor details work in concert to significantly influence our perception of quality and value. Weight Matters: A Tactile Cue for Trust Our brains are wired to value weight. Throughout history, heavier objects signified greater worth and durability. Just by holding a glass supplement bottle, with its satisfying weight and sturdiness, you can perceive a difference in quality. This subconscious connection makes the product feel more substantial and potentially more effective. The Cap and Material Matters The cap plays a crucial role. This seemingly simple component goes beyond child safety. Even supplements with low-risk ingredients, a childproof cap can contribute to a higher perceived quality. It implies a level of seriousness, ultimately enhancing the perceived value and trustworthiness of the supplement brand. A metal cap, with its cool, weighty feel, often conveys a sense of premium quality and durability. It suggests a product that is carefully crafted and built to last, aligning with the expectation of high-performance supplements. Aromatic Magic: A Scent to Remember Scents can trigger positive emotions and memories, which can be subconsciously associated with the perceived efficacy of a nutraceutical. For example, the smell of lavender might be linked to relaxation, leading someone to believe a lavender-scented sleep aid will be more effective. Appealing aroma can also enhance the placebo effect, where someone feels better simply because they believe a product is working. Manufacturers can leverage this power by incorporating a subtle, pleasant scent that complements the product's purpose (a hint of citrus invigorates, while lavender lulls to tranquillity). By orchestrating a cohesive sensory experience that aligns with your brand's identity and the supplement's benefits, you can transform the unboxing moment into an unforgettable first impression. This positive honeymoon phase sets the stage for a long-lasting relationship between your brand and your customers.
