We recently reached a major milestone in the development of our recovery intelligence platform. Version 1 is complete! ?? We took a moment to celebrate but now we're ready to take it to another level. Because we believe that advanced technology and analytics for addiction treatment, mental health care, and recovery supporters should not be created in a vacuum ... we're inviting the community to help us guide the direction of our development. All the details are in this week's newsletter. We're grateful for all the support and encouragement! #recoverysupport #recoverycapital #bhtech #data

Recovery Capital Index?
调查软件
The Recovery Capital Index? (RCI) provides a comprehensive picture of a person’s whole wellbeing using an online, automated survey. The RCI is person-centered and scientifically validated to reliably measure addiction wellness regardless of treatment modality, recovery pathway, or substance of use. Addiction recovery is not a binary state — let’s not measure it that way.

Big and important Q&A on the notion of "evidence-based."
Social entrepreneur turning data into intelligence for behavioral health, recovery support, and communities | Founder at Commonly Well | Architect of the Recovery Capital Index
? Frequently Asked Question: Are the Recovery Capital Index and/or Solomon evidence-based? The term "evidence-based" gets tossed around in the addiction treatment and recovery support world. What it means and what it means in particular contexts are very important distinctions. I breakdown what the term means and what it does not mean in this video. tl:dr ... it does not mean random control trial and/or being published. Towards the end I provide some tips for organizations when they are evaluating tools and technology for their program. Ask a lot of questions and do your due diligence. Of course, we have bias towards certain technologies and tools, but I am always available to assess and navigate the quickly changing world of behavioral health technology. #evidencebased #recoverycapital #bhtech Commonly Well Justin Smith, Ph.D.

Big release in Solomon today! Check this out ??
Social entrepreneur turning data into intelligence for behavioral health, recovery support, and communities | Founder at Commonly Well | Architect of the Recovery Capital Index
?? Launching Solomon's New Analytics! ?? Today we released into Solomon improved analytics, or what we like to call Recovery Intelligence. One thing you'll notice immediately is that the "home page" for Solomon is the data dashboard. Our objective is to help providers of all types and skills become data first and to build a culture of curiosity around the data coming from their participants. There's no hiding the data. It's at your finger tips and you can get as granular as you want or need. For larger, more sophisticated providers, this is not a big deal. But, the bulk, nearly 70% of providers in the addiction treatment and recovery support space, don't have access to participant data, insights, and outcomes, it real-time. We cannot change that overnight -- but we're changing it. This is just the start. Kudo's to our CTO, Justin Smith, Ph.D., for shepherding the build with our incredible partners at Volano Software and Sigma. Much more to come! #data #outcomes #recoverycapital Commonly Well Johanna M. Dolan

Did you know: On average, organizations using Commonly Well's Solomon improve participant recovery capital by 11 points over the first 100 days! ?? ?? We are about to release our new recovery intelligence and analytics tools into Solomon. I've been working with our team to design the analytics experience so that it is not overwhelming and accessible for most to make the best decisions for the greatest impact. We started building Solomon last April. The platform launched in late September. The data you see here is only data captured since launch -- it does not include the previous 4 years worth of data (that's getting merged in the very near future). What we see is that organizations that combine meaningful SMS and Email communications with automated participant reported surveys, get both good data and good data outcomes. Much more to share as we continue to build our Recovery Intelligence tools. #recoverycapital #recoveryintelligence #outcomes #analytics

At 1:00 pm and 8:00 pm ET today, I will a guest on In the Moment on SDPB with Walsh Lori. Lori reached out to discuss the past Surgeon General's report on cancer risk of alcohol. We talked about that, the challenges around prevention, and ... Thomas Jefferson. Because I'm a renaissance man and TJ and presidential power was the focus of my masters in history. Lori covers it all so well. Great to connect with another Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow! It's coming up!
