Matt's discussion of ServiceNow's approach to leveraging AI to enhance customer interactions, combined with Bill's stories of employee empowerment and authority at Southwest, contributed to a lively and thoughtful discussion. Last week, the annual Scaling Montana Summit took place in Bozeman. This year's event was unlike any other, bringing together CX and EX leaders in a setting that felt more like a gathering of friends than a traditional conference. With its intentionally smaller, more intimate environment, confluence is designed to make real connections happen—where attendees openly share challenges, celebrate successes, and walk away with actionable insights on customer and employee experience management that they can implement right away. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Montana, attendees enjoyed more than just inspiring sessions. From scenic nature walks and bike tours through downtown Bozeman to fly fishing lessons led by local experts, the beautiful surroundings created a perfect blend of learning and exploration.
