It was an incredible honor to have traveled to Washington DC along with Adelia Purcell, Ally Swindell, Lucas Caldas, and Lauren Snowden, to interview experts for our research on the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and his evolving role in the advent of global peer-to-peer conflict, in the context of our Innovation for Defense Project. Our day long outing took us to the Pentagon to speak with members of the The Joint Staff and the National War College to interview leading experts in the field and gain a deeper understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Chairman and the Joint Staff. It was an incredible professional and educational experience, and we’d like to thank the Common Mission Project and Lockheed Martin for providing us the opportunity through the Hacking 4 Defense program, all of our interviewees for welcoming us so warmly, our sponsors Charlie L. , Benjamin Van Buskirk, and Matt Garrick for aiding and accompanying us, and our professor Mark Matthews for guiding us through this wonderful opportunity. We are looking forward to refining our Minimum viable product and are excited to continue on our project! #DoD #H4D #HackingForDefense #TeamUnity
