“You don’t know, what you don’t know, until you know. This one of the most important life lessons that you can really take in. Life is full of all sorts of lessons and until you have a connection to someone or something- you may never really understand it. Today, we hope to help with one of those connections…”
Roseland University Prep Juniors and Sophomores learned an important lesson in BELONGING last week.
These presentations bring attention to the fact that every single one of us simply wants to live in a community where they feel like they belong…including people with disabilities.
These presentations create a place for teens to learn and grow, together.
We are enthusiastic about working alongside teens because they will soon be the ones running the world one day and this type of growth amongst the students can have a long lasting
impact on the future of our society.
Common Ground Society will be back at Roseland University Prep at the end of April to finish providing educational presentations to the rest of the students on campus.
We currently have a limited grant to offer free presentations in high schools. Know of a high school who could use one? Reach out!
