The numbers don’t lie: House Republicans passed a budget plan requiring $880 billion in savings—but ruled out Medicare cuts. With 93% of the remaining budget under their control coming from Medicaid, massive cuts are inevitable. ?? The truth? This is an attack on families, seniors, and people with disabilities. We can’t afford these reckless cuts. https://lnkd.in/eaBCA_c3

Physicians: The fight for Medicaid is on. Will you take action? Congress is pushing $880 BILLION in Medicaid cuts—putting millions of patients at risk. As doctors, we know what that means: More medical debt. More uninsured families. More people forced to delay or forgo life-saving care. Here’s how you can take action today: - Email your members of Congress: Tell them to keep their hands off Medicaid. - Create a video testimonial: Help recruit more physicians to speak out. - Share the action page: Make it easy for fellow doctors to join the fight. Your voice matters—and together, we can protect the health care our patients rely on. Take action now: https://lnkd.in/e-t8zKkD

Wisconsin doctors and medical students are sounding the alarm on Brad Schimel, WI's conservative candidate for Supreme Court justice. Dr. Chris Ford, Dr. Kristin Lyerly, Samantha Stroebel, and additional health care leaders made it clear: Wisconsinites deserve justices who will protect their health care--not roll it back.
What a privilege it is to be able to use the education I am so lucky to be receiving to speak up on behalf of my future patients and colleagues. Thank you to Committee to Protect Health Care, SEIU, Dr. Kristin Lyerly, and all of the other amazing individuals who took part in this panel on Tuesday. Let's go out and vote on April 1st, Wisconsin!
