CEA August 2024 Accreditation Decisions The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education for the accreditation of English language programs in accredited universities and colleges and of independent English language schools. CEA’s recognition allows accredited English language organizations to use their CEA accreditation for certification by SEVP (Department of Homeland Security) to admit international students. In accordance with U.S. Department of Education regulations for recognized accrediting agencies, this message is to inform you of the accreditation actions taken by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation at its August 2024 meeting. Information about the grants of accreditation is posted on the Recent Decisions page of the CEA website: https://lnkd.in/ewQzzYsS All public information about accredited programs or language institutions appears on the CEA Directory of Accredited Sites: https://lnkd.in/eDbe8Naw. Reviews taking place at the upcoming December 2024 meeting will be posted on the CEA website no later than 30 days in advance of the meeting. 2024 Call for Nominations Call for Nominations The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) is currently seeking nominations for commissioners to serve from January 2025 through December 2027. Applications are due July 1, 2024, for three new Commissioners to serve three-year terms.
