There are many reasons to join UAccel Quick Start + I-Corps in the Spring! UAccel Quick Start offers professional development and an experiential learning opportunity to innovators who are interested in learning the best commercialization path for their solutions. The goal of the program is to advance an innovation toward commercialization, including preparations for SBIR grants or National Innovation Corps applications, creation of a startup, or partnering with an established company to license the technology. We are excited to introduce you to Dr. Sangwook Kang, a graduate of our UAccel Quick Start + I-Corps program! Dr. Kang created a food-hub concept that aggregates locally grown fruits and vegetables. When asked about his experience with Launch Blue, Dr. Kang said, "it was incredibly valuable to learn how to design a feasible business model by identifying customers." With the skills he's gained from our program, he plans to implement his business model to real world food outlets, aiming to support rural communities in Kentucky.
