The Comesa Federation of Women in Business (COMFWB) BUSINESS CONFERENCES last 28th and 29th at Novotel Convention and Spa Antananarivo, Madagascar were a precious opportunity for more than 60 International Experts to share their knowledges, experiences, sucessstories, and Best practices . In the other hand, it was a rich occasion for the audience to update their information and to learn about new approaches and business trends from Private and Public Leaders The seven THEMES developped were :? Theme 1 : ?The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (#COMESA) and #AfCFTA Markets: Empowerment tools for female entrepreneurs ?.? Theme 2 :?? The #Role_of_institutions in #promoting_Regional and #continental_economic_and_Trade_Integration ?.? Theme 3: “The #importance_of_Technology_and_Digitization for #accessibility_and_competitiveness_in_the_Market”.? Theme 4: ? #Tourism as a #driver_of_growth_for_Women_Entrepreneurs ?. Theme 5: ?#Commercial_opportunities_within_Regiona_Value_Chains”? Theme 6: ?#Markets_access with #access_to_Finance_for_Women_ Entrepreneurs: What are the challenges and opportunities ?? Theme 7: “Towards an inclusive future: Women entrepreneurs' footprint in #Green_and_Circular_economies through #Sustainable_investment”. The panelists and moderators were from National and international Private and Public Sectors as well as from diverse International Organizations, national and international partners, women and youth entrepreneurs, national and international private companies. ?Participation du COMFWB Madagascar Chapter à l’Atelier sur la Politique du Genre du COMESA Antananarivo, le 23 juillet 2024. Le Secrétaire général du Ministère des Affaires étrangères, Monsieur Emi-Haulain KOLA, a participé à l'atelier sur la politique du COMESA en matière de genre, ainsi qu'au plan de mise en ?uvre et aux lignes directrices relatives à la promotion de l’égalité hommes-femmes, dirigée par Mme Béatrice Hamusonde, Directrice du genre et des affaires sociales de la COMESA. La Présidente du @Groupement des Femmes Entrepreneurs de Madagascar officiel - GFEM (GFEM) et Chairperson du COMFWB Madagascar accompagnée de la secrétaire exécutive du GFEM Fanja RAZAKABOANA ont pris une part active à cet atelier. ??Le gouvernement malagasy et la COMESA déploient des efforts pour construire une région où l’égalité de genre et l’autonomisation socio-économique des femmes occupent une place centrale dans les projets et programmes de développement. L'objectif de cet atelier est d'informer chaque participant de la politique de genre de la COMESA, ainsi que des outils de planification et de mise en ?uvre qui l'accompagnent. ??Le Groupement des Femmes Entrepreneurs de Madagascar joue un r?le crucial dans cette dynamique, visant à stimuler la participation active des femmes et à renforcer leur succès dans le développement économique du pays. En fournissant un environnement plus favorable et équitable, le GFEM ?uvre pour l'autonomisation et la réussite des femmes entrepreneurs. ?? Le Groupement des Femmes Entrepreneurs de Madagascar remercie le Secrétariat de la COMESA, le Ministère des Affaires étrangères ainsi que le Ministère de la Population et des Solidarités pour avoir rendu possible la tenue de cet événement.

La Grande ?le a travers Le COMFWB Madagascar Chapter franchit un nouveau palier régional en devenant membre du conseil d’administration de la Fédération des Femmes d’Affaires du COMESA (COMFWB). Représentées par le Groupement des Femmes Entrepreneures de Madagascar (GFEM) et sa présidente Fanja RAZAKABOANA , le pays aura l’opportunité de renforcer son positionnement stratégique et de défendre ses intérêts . Cette position au Board marque une avancée significative pour faciliter l'accès des femmes au marché commun et promouvoir Madagascar comme destination d'investissement. La mission du COMFWB, depuis sa création , est de développer l'entrepreneuriat féminin à travers divers programmes et événements, comme le récent Trade Fair au Novotel Alarobia du 28-29 Juin 2024.
