Bringing Vision Care Directly to Patients! While in Hubli, visiting our partner, Jayapriya Medical Foundation, CBI was able to visit a free eye camp! Often times, patients may not have the funds, transportation, or time to visit a vision center or hospital that is farther away so eye camps are a proven way to bring eye care directly to the patient. The patients are screened at the eye camp and if a problem is detected they are immediately brought to the hospital and receive the surgery or treatment they need THAT DAY! The screening, transportation, and surgery/treatment are all done free of charge. The patients are brought home the next day after recovery. Innovative solutions are essential to providing the best care a patient needs. Thank you to Jayapriya Eye Hospital for their great work in bringing eye care to their community.
