We were fortunate to have Ayokunle Omojola join us for a fireside chat at our Column Tax offsite earlier this year! Ayo leads product at Carbon Health and before that was on the team that built Cash App. He's also an angel investor in over 80 companies, including as one of the earliest investors in Column Tax! He shared about his experience building new financial products and shared his thoughts on what the next wave of embedded products might look like. His focus and clarity on user experience made a lasting impression on the whole Column team. A big thank you to Ayo for helping inspire the next chapter of growth at Column Tax!

Partners that offer Column Tax don’t just offer a normal tax filing experience. They offer a better one. Our API allows partners to pass information securely on the backend to pre-fill information for their users’ returns, saving their account holders time and reducing the risk of user error on filing. We then help collect the rest of the information, we submit directly to the IRS (all in our partners app). A seamless experience to end-to-end.

We just wrapped up our third annual Column Tax offsite in San Francisco ?? The week was a great blend of in-person work time & team bonding. From brainstorming sessions to iron chef cooking competitions, we made the most of each day.?This team has big things in store for the tax season ahead!
