The Columbus Region Green Fund (CRGF) is an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to equitably accelerating the clean energy transition in the Columbus Region. The CRGF partners with private lenders to provide access to low-cost financing to organizations in the Columbus Region for clean energy projects. Clean energy projects that the CRGF funds reduce harmful emissions, promote healthier communities, improve neighborhood resiliency and help the Columbus Region achieve its climate action goals.

Today, on Earth Day, the Columbus Region Green Fund is excited to announce funding for our first four Impact Solar installation projects! ?? ? ?? As a mission-based, equity-driven organization, the CRGF’s financing enables historically underserved populations to access solar energy at a price that will actually reduce utility costs, where solar has historically come at a premium. ? ? Financing these first four Impact Solar projects is a MAJOR step toward advancing clean energy equity and the city’s ambitious 2030 Climate Action Plan solar goals. ?
