In "Lawyers for Kids: Addressing Health-harming Legal Needs to Achieve Best Outcomes for Children," Callie Query illustrates the positive community impacts of medical legal partnerships through the Lawyers for Kids initiative at Nationwide Children's Hospital. We appreciate Callie's spotlight on the program as it continues to provide Franklin County medical patients and their families with access to legal services that can influence healthy outcomes for children. We're excited to partner with the Columbus Bar Association to host another edition of "Sports Law Night" for the Columbus Blue Jackets home game on Tuesday, April 1 vs. the Nashville Predators! Each year for this event, we feature a panel talking about hot topics in the industry, and the topic this year is to break down the legal implications and risks of artificial intelligence in sports: copyright and IP, employment, contracting and risk management, ethics... So much to cover! I'm especially thankful for our panelists joining the event, as each will bring a unique perspective to the conversation: Josh Flynn - Assistant General Manager, Columbus Blue Jackets Jabari Shaw, Esq. - Associate, Vorys Janica Pierce Tucker - Managing Partner, Taft This is a fantastic event for both law students interested in the industry, as well as legal professionals that may engage in these issues. Thanks to the CBA, this event will provide 1.0 hour of CLE credit (pending final review). If you are interested in tickets for the event, you can get them by reaching out to AJ Gareri or directly at this link: https://lnkd.in/gcERaYMs And last but not least, thank you to Donna Sweet for her continued partnership to help make this event a success each year!
