Join Columbia University School of Nursing Dean Lorraine Frazier, PhD, as she bravely shares her journey from her #breastcancer diagnosis to survivorship and highlights the significance of updated FDA mammogram guidelines for those with dense breasts. “The gift to all of us today is that you will be notified if you have dense breasts, you will be notified. The FDA suggests now that the provider and patient both be notified within 30 days that you may need additional testing because it can be harder to identify cancer in women with dense breasts on mammograms” ??
