Exciting news: Columbia Metropolitan Airport was awarded a $3 million grant for its microgrid project.? ? This award funds eligible solar array installations as well as battery electrical storage systems that will provide sustainable and resilient power sources for the airport terminal.?Additionally, the solar arrays will also provide more covered parking - in which the airport will extend its popular Parking Guidance System (the red and green lights the indicate taken and available parking spaces).

As the economic gateway to the Midlands, CAE had a great time participating in and sponsoring a hole in County of Lexington, SC’s 17th Annual Economic Development Existing Industry Appreciation Golf Tournament yesterday. A big thank you to all who crafted a paper airplane to compete for a chance to win a $500 flight voucher from CAE. The winning plane flew 57 feet.
