We are teaming up with Columbia University for the Skin Science Collaboration! ?????? Beiersdorf sealed the largest academic research alliance in company history in the US with renowned Columbia University (NYC, USA). This is what it's all about: ?? The collaboration aims to identify new intervention strategies and solutions to improve skin conditions. Tasks include developing novel in vitro skin models, validating dermatological targets and identifying dermocosmetic compounds to develop superior new products for the global face care market. ?? Of particular interest are the scientific areas of “Skin Aging” and “Skin of Color”, for which Columbia University research groups can submit project proposals. The most promising proposals will be funded. ?? Beiersdorf will support the five-year collaboration with up to €5 million. ?? The newly launched collaboration has already kicked-off with a pilot project to establish and characterize an innovative in-vitro skin wrinkle model. We are very excited about this new strategic collaboration with Columbia University and are convinced that the future and success of skin care research is based on exactly such team ups! ?? #Beiersdorf #BeiersdorfPioneers #SuperiorityThroughScience #SkinScience #Dermatology #AntiAging

It was a pleasure joining our partners at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona for a special #SCEWC24 ??. CS3 Director Andrew Smyth, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships Tara Lanigan, and Columbia Lab-to-Market Accelerator Network Director Dmytro Pokhylko enjoyed growing our international perspectives of smart cities. A special thank you to Misato Hattori and the NEC Corporation team for a wonderful tour of the Expo. It was amazing to learn more about NEC’s outstanding projects in Japan and see their research at the innovation and implementation levels. We had a great time walking the Expo floor, chatting with folks from across sectors about their groundbreaking work including Urban Technology Alliance, and learning from cities at the forefront of work with engineering and startups. We’re looking forward to next year! #SmartCities #UrbanInnovation #FutureofCities
