So glad you could join us at the Columbia Basin Sustainable Water Coalition stakeholder meeting, Katherine Taiclet, and a huge thank you to Daniel Haller, PE, CWRE for the excellent presentation on water banking. We greatly appreciate all of the water resource professionals that continue to help inform and guide our work!
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the Columbia Basin Sustainable Water Coalition meeting hosted by the Columbia Basin Conservation District, where Daniel Haller, PE, CWRE, from Aspect Consulting presented Water Banking - A Primer and Case Study Evaluation for Counties. It was an insightful discussion, building on what I learned from Dan's presentation last week at the Washington Growers League Labor Conference hosted by Michael Gempler. Dan's talk focused on the Washington State Department of Ecology Exempt Well Policy Impact on Farmworker Housing Development: Possible Solutions to a Tough Problem. Hearing Dan speak on two critical and interconnected water topics this month has been incredibly valuable as we continue striving for effective and resilient water management to support development and agriculture in #WashingtonState.
